A new development in Christchurch central has been approved for construction in between Cashel and Hereford streets. The new venue will comprise of a six-storey hotel, a restaurant and bar, and retail space.
Headed by the Kam Bik family trust, the 400 square-metre occupies a Wilson parking lot that used to house a Burger King prior to the earthquakes.
The hotel will have 48 rooms, a floor lobby, and a top-floor restaurant and bar area. Additionally, a three-sided balcony and roof garden are planned for the fifth floor.
