AUSTRALIA | Justin Fu has continued his longstanding career with Zarraffa's, opening his latest outlet at Capalaba Park 20 years after his first.
As the year rounds out, the Capalaba Park drive-thru has marked Zarraffa’s eleventh and final site to open for 2025. A highlight to the enduring strength of the franchise model and community-first philosophy.
Perfectly positioned in a prime location to service the bustling Capalaba and surrounding Redlands area, the new store will offer convenient access for commuters and locals alike, complementing Zarraffa’s ongoing investment in high-traffic and convenience sites across the region.
This store opening also signified a milestone for one of the brand’s longstanding Franchisees, Justin Fu, who’s journey with Zarraffa’s spans two decades. A proud Franchisee since 2005, Fu first took the reins of the Toowong store in Brisbane’s west, later expanding to Cannon Hill in 2018 when the store relocated, and now is a multi-site operator with the opening of the Capalaba Park drive thru.
“Justin has been part of the Zarraffa’s story since the early days, representing the dedication and consistency that has helped shape our brand thanks to the reinvestment from our loyal franchise partners,” said Zarraffa’s Coffee CEO, Marnie Sheldon.
“From the very first store in Toowong 20 years ago, to the new dual-lane drive thru in Capalaba Park, Justin embodies what we stand for as a brand: quality, community and connection. His loyalty and passion for great coffee and customer experiences make him a cornerstone of our franchise network.”
For Fu, opening a second Zarraffa’s store is both a professional achievement and a personal passion project.
“Zarraffa’s was my first job after moving to Australia in 2000 while I completed my Masters degree at the University of Queensland. In 2005, I bought my first store and in the blink of an eye, 20 years have passed by,” he said.
“I’ve grown with this brand and always appreciated how involved everyone is, from Head Office through to each local community. Capalaba is a new suburb for me, but I am really looking forward to getting to know the locals and becoming part of their daily coffee ritual.”
