Café Richmond has become the latest coffee hotspot in the Auckland suburb of Grey Lynn, blending the experiences of founder Daniel Kim from Korea and New Zealand.

The focus for Café Richmond was to craft a spot where tradition and creativity could form a new type of experience previously unseen locally.

Café Richmon is the culmination of Kim’s ten years of experience in the industry, and it was his desire to create a space where every customer was able to relax and enjoy high-quality coffee in a modern and inviting environment.

With a contemporary ambience fueled by modern music played from turntables, Café Richmond has tapped into the growing customer demand for unique experiences, showcasing modern trends and innovation as well as sensory aspects.

Since its soft opening in late October, the menu has attracted locals for its offerings of classic coffee varieties, as well as innovative beverages featuring new and refreshing flavours such as strawberry matcha and London fog. The menu has explored the process of experimenting with new ideas, with a distinct aim to make Café Richmond the go-to spot for customers who crave a succulent blend of traditional coffee culture and exciting trends.

It's not only about coffee, either. An array of croissants, sandwiches, pastries and sweet treats fill cabinets at the counter, keeping options simple but made with care to complement the coffee menu.

Café Richmond has become a place for locals to relax and slow down, and to savour the tastes of quality coffee and food. It has also been designed as a place to connect and for customers to take a moment for themselves. Its harmony of music, coffee and atmosphere has made it the perfect example what customers are craving for: a unique and enjoyable dining experience.
