Kirsten Taylor, head brewer at The Fermentist in Christchurch, has been named a finalist for the Sustainability Superstar Award at the 2018 Sustainability Business Network Awards.
The Sustainability Business Network Awards are the largest sustainability awards in the country and received a record number of entries this year. The Fermentist opened at the start of June in Sydenham.
“Kirsten has been instrumental in getting The Fermentist off the ground and her passion for sustainability has etched its way into every aspect of the brewery,” said Lion New Zealand managing director Rory Glass.
