Al Brown’s Best Ugly Bagels has opened at the Auckland Airport International Terminal, the first of 21 new openings set for New Zealand’s busiest airport. The new store is located after the security check, so only travellers leaving our shores will be able to enjoy them.
“Congratulations to Paul and the Delaware North Auckland Airport team,” Delaware North operations director Stephen Hackshall said. “A big thank you to our brand partner team at Best Ugly Bagels, Al Brown, Hayden, Jeremy and Stuart – we look forward to a long and happy relationship.”
Best Ugly is one of 21 new eateries planned for the airport under its 30 Year Plan to become a major Australasian transport hub.
“There will be more employment opportunities for local people to work close to where they live,” said Auckland Airport’s retail and commercial head Richard Barker. “Given our location in South Auckland, it’s important that local people can connect with local jobs which present exciting and rewarding retail careers.”
