Auckland’s latest hotel rooftop bar, Bar Albert, has launched its winter cocktail menu.
The new menu embodies the evolution of Bar Albert as a premier establishment at the forefront of Auckland’s cocktail scene, presenting a collection of 28 new and enticing signature drinks that captivate the senses and tell the story of speak-easy style bars.
Drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of mixology and the ‘four corners’ of the world, Bar Albert has curated an extraordinary selection of bespoke cocktails that reflect the bar’s commitment to authenticity, attention to detail, and the use of independent alcohol and spirits garnished with locally sourced, fresh ingredients.
Themed by Auckland street names, Bar Albert’s new signature drinks have been designed to delight and intrigue even the most discerning cocktail connoisseurs. From the Surrey Crescent, a tantalising blend of The Botanist Gin, Brokenheart quince liqueur, pineapple chilli shrub, and rhubarb scrub to the remarkable Richmond Road, which combines Arran Sherry Cask Whisky, fig syrup, beetroot syrup, and orange blossom water, Bar Albert’s winter concoctions look to deliver a supreme sensory experience.
Robbie Douglas, Bar Albert’s Head Mixologist and Bar Manager, said that at Bar Albert, the belief is that guests should not only taste their beverages but also be treated to an experiential level of bartending and service where all the senses are heightened.
