Auckland Expansion Plans for Starbucks

Following the revamp of its flagship Queen Street, Auckland store, Starbucks New Zealand has announced plans to open new stores in Britomart, Manukau, and Albany in the first half of 2021, with plans for additional stores in the second half of the year.

“We are pleased to be a part of the rich local cafe and coffee culture in New Zealand and these investments strengthen our commitment for the long-term,” noted Charles Belcher, CEO Starbucks New Zealand.

The two-level Queen Street store has long been a hub for students and workers in the Auckland CBD. The revamp is designed to bring a renewed energy to the destination with a newly designed storefront and a completely transformed interior featuring a new coffee bar.

This flagship store sees over 1000 customers daily.
