Diners at Perth’s Pinchos Tapas Bar were subjected to disturbing content from vegan protestors who confronted them with gruesome images and stories. Video footage shows a demonstrator reading chilling facts about animal slaughter from their phone while diners enjoy a meal outside.
The protestors claimed to be from a group called Direct Action Everywhere and live-streamed part of their protest to their Facebook page.
Last year, the group targeted a McDonald’s where similar morbid imagery and signage was used.
