Pals has released the latest addition to its core range of six thirst-quenching flavours - Vodka, Red Peach, Yuzu and Soda. Affectionately coined ‘the red one,’ the new Pal is packaged in a pastel red can and combines juicy sweet notes of Red Peach with Yuzu, a Japanese zesty citrus fruit with triple-distilled vodka and soda.
The development of Pals Vodka, Red Peach with Yuzu and Soda is no exception to vigorous testing and refinement, with its delightfully unexpected flavour combination set to follow the gold-standard suite of all existing flavours.
“A lot of thought and consideration went into deciding the new flavour. We wanted to make sure it ticked all the boxes; original, refreshing, light and felt naturally part of the Pals family. The team taste-tested and refined more than 100 different iterations to land on the winner - the sweetness of red peach, combined with the zestiness of yuzu, made for a delicious final result we’re super excited to share,” said Nick Marshall, Pals Co-Founder.
Thanks to this dedication to flavour perfection and the team’s original approach to marketing, Pals has transformed the category since its 2019 launch, reaching ‘cult-status’ and capturing a generation of drinkers wanting a healthier alternative without compromising on taste or brand experience.
“We had a bit of fun with this launch, keeping everyone guessing. We wanted to play on Pals fans dubbing their favourite flavours using the can colours e.g ‘the Purple One’, which is truly unique to the brand, so we took out billboards across the country and turned them red with a date, logo and copy reading ‘The Red One’ to get everyone talking. It’s been very entertaining hearing everyone’s guesses and we’re excited to finally be able to announce what it is and hear what people think,” said Mat Croad, Co-Founder and Director.
