Pumpkin based recipes (a seasonal favourite in the northern hemisphere) dominated the rankings with 50 percent of the top 10 recipes. American classic #PumpkinPie won the top spot with more than 140 million views, unsurprising considering the dish's popularity at other times of the year and association with the American holiday Thanksgiving.

Harry Potter-themed #ButterBeer earned 50 points for Gryffindor, achieving second place with 99 million views. This recipe is sure to be a hit with Harry Potter fans as they picture themselves sipping Hogsmeade.
