SAUVIGNON 2016, THE WINE WORLD MEETS IN NZ

To be held in Marlborough on February 1-3 2016, Sauvignon 2016 is New Zealand's first ever International Sauvignon Blanc Celebration. Over 300 guests are expected to attend the three-day event, designed to showcase and explore regional characteristics, styles and winemaking techniques. Attendees from 18 countries will have the chance to savour over 400 wines from New Zealand, Italy, France, Chile, South Africa, Australia, America and Austria. History and future directions will also be debated, ranging from stainless steel fermented wines to wild fermented and oak aged approaches, not to mention lower alcohol options.
To further entertain all participants, other activities are also scheduled, such as a train trip through the Awatere Valley, a Kiwiana beach party, a garden party at Timara Lodge and a ultimate Gala dinner finale.
Don't forget to check the event's website for further information.
