Robot Waiters Delight Diners While Helping with Staff Shortages

Continuing to stay at the forefront of restaurant equipment and technology, the innovative heart of hospitality, Burns & Ferrall, has introduced delivery robots to its offering.

BellaBot

The company is focusing on the BellaBot and the KettyBot, already demonstrating the technology for clients. The bots are already delighting diners across the ditch with one Sydney restaurant showing off its new toy via social media.

The BellaBot is a premium delivery robot designed by Pudu. It inherits the outstanding characteristics of the previous generation, while being endowed with superior human-Robot interaction capabilities.

Featuring an innovative bionic design language, lovely modelling, multi-modal interaction, and many other new functions, BellaBot provides users with an unprecedented food delivery robot experience.

KettyBot is Pudu Technology's latest delivery and reception robot that features advertisement display, customer guiding, AI voice interaction, and delivery functions. As a low cost and high efficiency solution, KettyBot delivers a state-of-the-art experience in high traffic restaurants.

But it’s not just food delivery these robots provide, the KettyBot, for example provides in-store marketing with a large display that can show ads to a wide audience with high frequency.

In Australia and elsewhere, robots are being lauded as a solution to the labour shortage hospitality is currently experiencing.

“Burns & Ferrall are very excited to be able to continue our drive for innovation by offering delivery Robots to the New Zealand market,” noted Burns & Ferrall director, Tony Broome.

The BellaBot can be rented via Silverchef for as little as $45.80 per day or the KettyBot from as little as $29 per day, supported by local Pudu Robotics representatives.
