ECF Asia Pacific incorporating Reward Hospitality have agreed to terms with The Savage Group Limited to acquire 100% of Safco Limited. Subject to final conditions it is expected that completion of the sale will be effective 31st May 2022.
With operations in Australia, New Zealand, China, and Singapore, Safco is a strong supplier of a range of commercial-quality products to the hospitality and quick service restaurant (QSR) sectors. This exciting acquisition sees ECF Asia Pacific expand into new regions, further solidifying their position as Asia Pacific’s leading hospitality and care supplier.
Becoming a part of ECF Asia Pacific will provide Safco access to a broader and more comprehensive product offering, larger inventory depth, digital tools, and access to global group support. Utilising ECF Asia Pacific’s sophisticated distribution network and broad product offering will enable Safco to expand their proven expertise in QSR, a growing and important market segment.
The importance of maintaining local representation is essential to success and is something ECF Asia Pacific have an ongoing commitment to. Kevin Gallagher will become a part of the Group’s senior management team and continue to lead the company as Safco General Manager.
