Pizza Hut has reformulated its signature pan pizza for the first time in its 40-year history.
The new pizza features a different cheese blend, a crispier crust, and more sauce. The change comes in light of the chain's relatively flat sales over the past decade, in contrast to rival Domino's who have seen a 112.8% increase since 2009 when they reformulated their own pizza.
A newly engineered pan has been developed for the new pizza, which will be available 7,400 locations across the US.
