The first year of the Bay Hospitality Awards are officially underway, with nominations now open online for hospitality industry workers, owners, suppliers, and sales reps to the industry.
The general public in the Bay of Plenty can also now vote for their favourite establishment in the Mills Reef Winery People’s Choice Award category.
Other award categories range from Outstanding Cafe, Moana New Zealand Emerging Talent, and Gilmours Tauranga Outstanding Restaurant.
“The Bay Hospitality Awards are all about honouring heroes in hospitality by promoting excellence in the industry.” Marisa Bidois, CEO of the Restaurant Association New Zealand commented.
“It is the chance for hospo colleagues to come together and recognise their own.”
The event has attracted important support from local and international sponsors, such as Pernod Ricard, Goodman Fielder, Independent Liquor, Bidvest Tauranga, and Spark Business.
