Sydney's newest rooftop bar has opened its doors, as Sky Bar on top of Shell House in the CBD welcomes guests for the first time.
With floor-to-ceiling glass doors surrounding fully-retractable pavilions, Sky Bar is the centrepiece of Shell House clocktower, and guests will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the cityscape.
Shell House owner and restauranteur Brett Robinson said Sky Bar was designed for fun and relaxation, an oasis in the city.
The beverage list includes champagne, wine, and spritzes. Snacks include Oscietra caviar, a spiced snapper collar or coal-roasted quail.
Shell House will also be opening The Clocktower Bar, which is housed within the iconic clock on the ninth floor. The Clocktower Bar is described as "an immersive space lined in timber joinery to capture the heritage and the grandeur of the 1930's Art Deco period, and its Italianate architecture."
Later in November, the Dining Room & Terrace will open with "refined dishes that are infused with Australian provenance yet bear the mark of the Mediterranean way of life."
