Negociants New Zealand will celebrate its 40th anniversary in July with a Fine Wine Tour around the country.

On the 19th July 2025, Negociants New Zealand will celebrate 40 years of national distribution of premium wines from around the world.  Just a few days after its 40th Anniversary, Negociants New Zealand will hold its Negociants Fine Wine Tour, where a selection of highly regarded, award-winning wines from New Zealand and Australia will be presented.  

The tour will take place in Auckland on Monday, 21st July at The Hilton Auckland, Wellington on Tuesday 22nd July at Te Wharewaka o Poneke, and Christchurch on Wednesday 23rd July at The Christchurch Town Hall.

Negociants New Zealand trade customers have been invited to register for the trade session from 1.30pm to 4.30pm through its website.

The general public have also been invited to purchase tickets for the 6.00pm to 8.00pm session, also through the website or Eventbrite. The ticket price will include all tastings, an event booklet listing all wines and recommended retail pricing, light refreshments and a Riedel Ouverture Magnum wine glass in a takeaway gift carton (not for trade session).

“Get your friends and family together for a wine tasting that is amazing value and an experience to be remembered before heading out for dinner to make it a great night out,” said Negociants New Zealand in a Statement.

New Zealand wines participating will include Black Barn Vineyards and Smith & Sheth from Hawke’s Bay, Palliser Estate from Martinborough, Urlar from Gladstone, Auntsfield, Fromm, Greywacke, Nautilus Estate and Saint Clair Family Estate from Marlborough, Mt Beautiful Wines from Chevoit, Pyramid Valley from North Canterbury, Rippon Vineyard, Two Paddocks and Misha’s Vineyard from Central Otago.

Featured Australian wines include d’Arenberg from McLaren Vale, Jim Barry Wine from Clare Valley, Langmeil from Barossa Valley, Yalumba and Chaffey Bros. from the Barossa and Eden Valleys, and Vasse Felix from Margaret River.

Terps & Co non-alcoholic spirits and Antipodes Still and Sparkling water will be poured and freely available throughout the event and all wine will be poured in Riedel Ouverture Magnum glasses.
