For the first time, McDonald's has launched its world-famous McGriddles onto the menu across New Zealand restaurants.
McDonald’s fans around the world have long loved them, and now Kiwi breakfast lovers can finally wake up to the sweet-and-savoury goodness of McGriddles, landing on the menu at Macca’s restaurants across New Zealand.
The popular breakfast item features soft, fluffy griddle cakes infused with a hint of maple flavour, a delicious cross between a hotcake and a classic McMuffin that McDonald’s said was guaranteed to turn customers’ AM into an AMmmmm.
McGriddles are now available in three delicious breakfast combinations in New Zealand: Bacon and Egg, Sausage and Egg, and Sausage, which McDonald’s said was a tasty way to kick-start the day.
Whether customers are an early riser or a serial snoozer, the irresistible mix of sweet and savoury makes McGriddles well worth rolling out of bed for.
“We got the message, and we’re excited to welcome McGriddles to our iconic breakfast menu line-up,” said Luke Rive, Director of Marketing.
“Whether you’re grabbing brekkie on the go or taking a moment to ease into the day, McGriddles offer a delicious new way to start the morning.”
McGriddles are available at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide and via McDelivery, from the 11th of March, and they’re here to stay.
