McDonald’s to reduce late night offerings

McDonald’s in the United States has announced plans to reduce their menu offered late-night. The smaller menu is supposed to increase speed across their stores and will apply to McDonald’s stores in the U.S. that are open after midnight.

McDonald’s said, “We always want our customers’ experiences to be simple, smooth and delicious—any time of the day. That means, day and night, we’re always looking for ways to serve them even better.”

The change will roll-in on April 30th. The new menu will have the Big Mac and Quarter Pounder burgers, as well as Chicken McNuggets, the All-Day Breakfast, fries, apple pies, Happy Meals and McCafe beverages.

McDonald’s has over 14,000 stores across the U.S., but it is unclear how many of them are open after midnight.
