Marlborough Wine and Food Festival To Make Comeback In 2023

After a two year hiatus due to Covid-19, New Zealand's longest running food and wine event, the Marlborough Wine and Food Festival is returning in 2023.

The festival will be held on February 11. It marks not only the region’s 36th festival, but also the 50th anniversary of when grapes were first planted in Marlborough.

With more than 30 vineyards participating in the festival, attendees can enjoy award winning wines from local producers, paired with delicious food from local chefs and vendors. Guests can expect to see the offerings of Brancott Estate, Ara and Marisco Vineyards at the event. A line-up of high profile bands will also be on site to provide a full day of live entertainment.

Wine Marlborough General Manager Marcus Pickens added that the festival will be a stellar event after a tough couple of years for the viticulture industry. Wineries, chefs, caterers and bands are ready to celebrate what is special about Marlborough - the amazing wine, fresh food and friendly people.

This year’s event will be held at Renwick Park for the first time. In previous years it was held at Brancott Estate vineyard in Fairhall. Currently, only General Admission tickets are available. In past years, the festival has completely sold out.
