Today (5th of May,) is the last day to enter for the Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat Award 2023.
The Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat Award competition is aimed at supporting emerging culinary talent, and offering a platform like no other for the next generation of chefs. The competition offers young chefs and apprentices an opportunity to showcase their skills in live cook-off competitions judged to global standards, with medals available across entrée, main and dessert categories.
12 finalists will be selected from across Australia and New Zealand, who will then be put to the test on the big stage at Fine Food Australia, held at the Sydney International Convention Centre on the 11th and 12th of September, 2023.
The award is entering its 58th year, and has kickstarted the careers of many who work in the industry.
The competition is open to all Australian and New Zealand residents aged from 16 to 25 years on the 31st of December 2023, who are currently or recently employed in the culinary industry (within the last 12 months) or are studying a course relevant to the culinary industry full time.
