Krispy Kreme is celebrating International Nurses Day by showing its appreciation the best way it knows how.
All Krispy Kreme stores in Auckland will be giving away free original glazed doughnuts to nurses on Friday 12th of May, simply by showing a nurse ID or worker badge.
Aimee Cutajar, head of marketing for Krispy Kreme ANZ said this is how they are celebrating their hard work and is a token of appreciation.
“We’re extremely thankful and lucky to have nurses and frontline workers in the healthcare industry to provide above and beyond-care for us. Our much loved Original Glazed Doughnuts are made fresh and ready to sweeten the day for nurses, whether they’re starting their day or wrapping up an evening shift. Please drop by and share the joy and love with your fellow nurses and colleagues.”
Originating in North Carolina in 1937, Krispy Kreme has established itself as being a global doughnut and barista outlet. Launching in New Zealand in 2018, Krispy Kreme has five stores across Auckland and are also available at selected BP petrol stations.
Krispy Kreme is also celebrating the grand opening of the new Albany store on the 12th of may too. The opening will see a further 2,000 glazed doughnuts given away throughout the day.
