Kāpiti Food Fair On This Weekend

The annual Kāpiti Food Fair is back on this Saturday at the Mazengarb Reserve in Paraparaumu, from 10am to 4pm.

A treat for any foodie, the event aims to showcase New Zealand's best packaged food and beverage, boasting nearly 250 food vendors and a licensed Tuatara Bar and stage. Live entertainment from the likes of Jody Direen will also be on show.

The Kapiti Food Fair is family-friendly, providing free face painting and a kids' play zone.

Privately owned and operated in partnership by Helene Judge and Jeanine van Kradenburg, it is supported by the Kāpiti Mayor Events Fund since 2016.

Established in 2008, the fair has grown over the years from 80 vendors in 2012 to 250 in 2022. It attracts roughly 12,000 local and regional visitors annually.
