A Californian roasting company, Klatch Coffee, is serving up what it considered to be the most expensive coffee in the world.
The Panamanian Elida Geisha 803 coffee took home gold at the Best Panama coffee competition and was won at auction by Klatch Coffee, who paid a record-breaking USD 803 per pound, giving the coffee its namesake.
The luxurious coffee is said to change flavour as you drink it, switching from a tea-like taste to a berry flavour.
The coffee will be available for a limited time at the company’s Los Angeles and San Francisco locations.
