I Am Hope has partnered with Good Buzz to launch the very first Gumbootcha, raising funds for mental health services for young Kiwis.
Good Buzz has teamed up with youth mental health charity I Am Hope to launch Gumbootcha, a bold, show-up-every-week kombucha that’s good for the gut and gives back to young Kiwis who need support.
Brewed the Good Buzz way with New Zealand spring water, organic tea and organic cane sugar, Gumbootcha is a smooth, fruity blackcurrant kombucha designed to be easy-drinking and genuinely refreshing, sweet, but not too sweet, and never vinegary.
Gumboot Friday helps thousands of young people access free counselling across Aotearoa, and Good Buzz wanted to play a small part in supporting that work.
What makes it different is what happens after you crack the cap. For every bottle of Gumbootcha sold, 50 cents is donated to I Am Hope, helping fund free counselling for young people across the country. That means every weekly shop becomes a small, practical act of good, one bottle at a time.
“Mental health isn’t a one-day conversation,” said Shane Topp, Chief Executive of Good Buzz.
“We wanted to create something people could choose weekly, something that fits naturally into everyday life while quietly doing good in the background.”
At the heart of the partnership is a shared belief that feeling good starts from the inside out. Gumbootcha supports gut health, home to trillions of microbes that play a role not just in digestion, but in how we feel overall.
Together, Good Buzz and I Am Hope are helping Kiwis feel a little better, inside and out, while giving back to the community.
The Good Buzz uses natural ingredients, millions of natural probiotics, is certified organic, includes no artificial sweeteners, uses New Zealand spring water, is raw and unpasturised, and is brewed and bottled in New Zealand.
The Gumbootcha is available at New World stores across the country, and at selected Pak’nSave and Four Square locations.
