Five Guys Optimise Customer Experience

USA | Fast food chain Five Guys has partnered with CloudKitchens to optimise delivery and takeaway orders in San Francisco.

Five Guys is officially launching its latest location at Charter Oak Pickup in San Francisco, a CloudKitchens delivery and takeout site located at its Charter Oak Ave restaurant in San Francisco.

Fans of the restaurant chain will be able to order Five Guys’ classic menu by ordering through major delivery apps, fiveguys.com, or charteroakfood.com. The new location will operate daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m, marking the brand’s first ghost kitchen in a partnership with CloudKitchens, further fueling Five Guys’ nationwide growth.

“We’re pumped to be the first Five Guys location opening in San Francisco and can’t wait to start serving our iconic burgers, hot dogs, fries, and milkshakes to the city,” said franchisee owner Sanjeev Kumar of Tripart Management.

“Partnering with CloudKitchens has finally given us a way to enter the market, and we’re excited about what’s ahead.”

As the cost of capital soars and digital ordering continues to rise, ghost kitchens like Charter Oak Pickup offer Five Guys a cost-effective way to expand its reach, without all of the upfront cost associated with a traditional store.

Founded in Arlington, VA, in 1986, the first Five Guys location opened as The Place to get a fresh, juicy burger with all the toppings customers could stuff between fresh-baked buns. Since then, Five Guys has expanded to more than 1,900 locations across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Five Guys is known for only using fresh ground beef, peanut oil, and never freezing any ingredients.

CloudKitchens is one of the world’s largest providers of ghost kitchens with over 5,000 kitchens actively cooking in 400 facilities across 30 countries. Located in dense urban cores, its facilities are optimised for off-premises sales (delivery, takeout, walkup) with built-out commercial kitchens for franchisees and corporate operators.
