Firefighters were called to a fire outside Napier's Pacifica restaurant this morning.
A spokesperson said that two fire engines were called from Napier and Hastings, and they were able to extinguish the fire - located in a skip bin outside the restaurant - within a few minutes.
They received the call just after 7:30 am today. It's not yet known if any damage was caused.
Pacifica is one of Hawke's Bay's most renowned restaurants, run and owned by chef Jeremy Rameka. It was named New Zealand's Restaurant of the Year 2017 by the Cuisine Good Food Awards.
