Sesame Street’s iconic blue cookie fan is diversifying his tastes with the arrival of his new food truck and chef sidekick, Gonger.
The new five-minute segment will feature a child video-chat in an order, before Cookie Monster and Gonger realise that they are missing a key ingredient. The pair will head out to the producer – be it on a cranberry bog, avocado farm or pasta factory – and a live action sequence will show them retrieving the necessary ingredient.
‘Cookie Monster’s Foodie Truck’, although far from a sustainable business model, will resonate with kids and teach them about healthy eating habits and food production – accompanied all the while by the original food fanatic.
