CONTAINER KITCHEN TAKES OUT TITLE

The best restaurant in the UK isn’t even the best restaurant in its hometown of Cornwall according to a recent survey, which placed a roadside container kitchen higher than the iconic Restaurant Nathan Outlaw.

Despite the name, Nice Baps has a range of celebrity fans including former Prime Minister David Cameron and the entire cast of Poldark, who frequent the café.

“It’s just normal food,” explained owner Kevin Baker. “I can’t explain how easy it is. I do magic tricks for the kids. It’s banter, it’s fun. I treat everyone the same as you would want to be treated yourself. Remember where you’ve come from and treat others as you want to be treated and people will come back to you.”

Baker and his wife opened the converted shipping container ten years ago and it has since become a cult classic, beating out every other restaurant to become the number one ranked establishment on TripAdvisor.

“Stefan, the head chef at Rick Stein, came in for a bacon and cheese melt the other day,” said Laura. “He said he’d heard about them.”

Burns & Ferrall is offering the chance for one lucky company to walk away with a fully equipped, fully functional commercial kitchen housed inside a custom-built recycled container, worth over $125,000. Simply spend $1000 at Burns & Ferrall to go into the draw.
