Coca-Cola Amatil has increased its portfolio of premium brands in New Zealand and Australia, thanks to a new 20-year multi-million dollar distribution contract for Monster Energy drinks. Through the dealfF, which will come into effect on May 9, Monster Beverage Corporation’s subsidiary Monster Energy aims to increase its marketing investment throughout Australasia. In June, California-based Monster Beverage Corporation announced a long-strategic partnership with The Coca-Cola Company to take ownership of all TCCC Energy brands.
