CELEBRATING NO AND LOW

No and low-alcohol beverages are trending amongst modern-day drinkers looking to enjoy a refreshing drink without having to worry about the consequences. To celebrate this, Seedlip, the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit brand, and Clipper, Ponsonby’s aviation-themed bar, are kicking off the summer with ‘N o l o’.

November the 23rd, from 3-6 pm, Clipper’s standard cocktail and drinks menu will sit alongside a unique no and low alcoholic cocktail list curated by Seedlip’s team.

The ‘no’ menu will have something for everyone, from the MartiNO to the NOgroni, non-alcoholic renditions of the classics. Additionally, the low-alcohol menu will contain an array of flavoursome and unforgettable cocktails specially designed.

“I’m always interested in global trends, and this year, in particular, we’ve seen a noticeable rise in the number of non or moderate drinkers, as well as an increased interest in the no and low alcohol space,” said Barney Toy, Clipper’s co-owner.

“Because we have such a focus on aperitif-style drinks at Clipper, we decided to hold this one-off event to show off some unique Seedlip cocktail options alongside our usual drinks,” said Toy.

With the no and low alcohol category truly heating up, Seedlip hopes to continue to drive the sphere with their innovative drinks.

“Until recently, as a bartender, there have been no products pushing the creative boundaries of this category,” said Jaz Rutter, Seedlip country manager. “Being able to create a menu of no and low drinks that sit harmoniously together, and providing guests with a feeling of inclusion, whether they are drinking alcohol or not, is a great feeling.”
