Butter Baby Launches Christmas Donut Range

To celebrate the festive season, small artisan home bakery, Butter Baby, has released a selection of Christmas-themed donuts to be sold at Britomart’s Saturday Markets. 

Beginning as a lockdown project, Butter Baby prides itself on putting a creative twist on classic comfort treats and connecting good food with great people. 

Its festive selection features four donuts.

“Santa’s Milk & Cookies” is filled with fresh vanilla whipped cream and topped with a white chocolate glaze and the bakery’s special chocolate chip cookie crumb. 

“Rudolph’s Carrot Cake” is filled with carrot cake custard and finished with a carrot-topped vanilla cream cheese frosting. 

“Chocolate Log Cake” features a chocolate custard filling, cream and chocolate sponge and a chocolate glaze topping. 

The “gingerbread” donut is filled with spiced ginger custard and finished with a white chocolate glaze and ginger crumbs. 

All of Butter Baby’s products are packaged in eco-friendly, sustainable packaging. Its boxes are recyclable and lined with compostable Foodsafe paper. Every purchased gift box comes with a compostable handwritten card that allows customers to personalise the box with a special message. 

It is currently in the process of opening a retail bakery in West Auckland.
