The Hollywood A-lister visited Kumeū McDonald’s on Easter Sunday, and was captured surprising a young fan and her mother.
Brad Pitt has been in New Zealand recently to film his latest blockbuster project, “Heart of the Beast.”
The movie has predominantly been filmed down in Queenstown, and is believed to follow the storyline of an ex-Navy Seal and his retired combat dog attempting to return to civilisation from the wilderness.
McDonald’s announcement of the special celebration of the Oscar winner’s visit was made on its social media.
“He stopped by. Everyone lost the plot. Now it’s free Quarter Pounders for all Brads. Cheers Brad,” it said in a post.
The deal will automatically drop straight into the app of anyone registered under the name Brad, and is valid until the end of the week.
“Because at Macca’s, you don’t have to be that Brad. All Brads are welcome, Hollywood or Henderson,” McDonald’s added.
