Burger King in Singapore has launched a new feature in its mobile app, allowing customers to pre-order their meals and pick them up at their convenience.

“We listen to our customers, recognise and understand their needs because they are important to us,” said Burger King marketing manager Kym Lee. “We understand that time and convenience are important to them. We want our customers to savour their meals and have an enjoyable, quality dining experience with us.”

The new app was the result of a ‘manpower crunch’ in the Singapore QSR sector. Slow service and queue bottlenecks at busy times led to a drop in customers. The app is an extension of the self-service kiosk which is becoming ubiquitous around the world, as well as offering vouchers and deals.
