Bialetti x Dolce & Gabbana’s Luxury Coffee

Bialetti has collaborated with Dolce & Gabbana to create a luxury coffee, a piece of Dolce & Gabbana designer in the form of a cup of coffee. This limited line is quintessential 'la dolce vita' with a rewrite of the famous Moka Express.

Bialetti Moka is the Italian hero of stovetop coffee, as it transformed the art of coffee making by infusing the ritualistic café culture into at-home coffee in 1933. Ninety years later, the pot is still recognised as one of ten Italian inventions that changed the world.

A permanent collection of MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) and Milan's Triennale Design Museum, the Bialetti Moka Pot is the muse of Dolce & Gabbana, known for its iconic collaborations with Madonna, streetwear brand Supreme, and much more.

In true D&G style, the line is a tribute to both brands' heritage. Carretto Siciliano inspires Sicilian artistic tapestry's intricate and traditional elements in redesigning the espresso stovetop maker. The Dolce & Gabbana Perfetto Coffee harmoniously blends floral and fruity aromas with the essence of hazelnut and cocoa encased in a collector's coffee tin of the same design.

Dolce & Gabbana's team-up with Bialetti offers an entry into the luxury fashion house. It aims to bring Sicilian opulence into homes and is perfect for sophisticated sit-downs or simply sipping solo.

Bialetti x Dolce & Gabbana's limited edition Moka Express is available now at Smith & Caughey's, Ballantynes and online at Bialetti.co.nz from RRP$195, while the Dolce & Gabbana Perfetto Coffee tin set arrives in mid-August.
