Impossible Meat burger 2.0 cut in half and held by two hands

Following its collaboration with international burger fast-chain Burger King in August, the Impossible Burger has made headlines again after being included in TIME’s list of the 100 best inventions of 2019.

“The classic veggie burger got an upgrade with the Impossible Burger 2.0, an alternative to ground beef that even chars and bleeds, despite being made entirely from plant-based proteins,” wrote Jasmine Aguilera, writer at TIME magazine.

The burger holds one of the six positions awarded in the list’s Food and Drink category.
