Art for Good for this Year’s Pink Ribbon Breakfast

Local artist Liora Pine from Toodles Noodles has designed a limited-edition Reusable Cup to be sold during this year’s Pink Ribbon Breakfast campaign to help raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand.

Every year, Liora signs up in her local town of Cambridge to collect donations for the Pink Ribbon Street Appeal and wanted to find another way to help the cause.

Working closely with fellow Kiwi business Cuppa Coffee Cup, designing artwork for their range since 2016, Liora jumped at the chance to help design a cup for Robert Harris’ Pink Ribbon Breakfast campaign this year.

“It’s an awesome opportunity and challenge to design a cup that supports the Pink Ribbon Breakfast campaign. I think this is a cause that we all need to get behind and help not only raise awareness, but also funds, for those dealing with breast cancer.”

Having once had a cervical cancer scare herself, Liora knows how important it is to raise awareness of such campaigns that have a positive impact on women’s health and wellbeing. Reflected in Liora’s cup design are her personal values of uplifting messages and good quality of life.

“My design is inspired by the feeling that a good breakfast and cup of coffee can bring, waking up with awesome energy, wanting to conquer the day,” she said.

The Reusable Cups are available to purchase throughout the month of May in all Robert Harris stores across the country with 100% of the profit being donated to the BCFNZ.
