International Acclaim
A modern distillery in an age-old town, Reefton Distilling Co. are at the forefront of spirit production in New Zealand.
With the doors to their West Coast distillery open for just under two years, this entrepreneurial team have already achieved international and national acclaim with sixteen awards for their range of small batch distilled premium spirits.
Their much-lauded range of Little Biddy Gins have achieved Gold, Silver and Bronze, the latest being a gold medal from the 2020 SIP Awards, the only internationally recognised consumer judging spirits competition.
Native New Zealand Botanicals
Reefton Distilling Co.’s Little Biddy Gin range was created in honour of Reefton legend Bridget ‘Biddy’ Goodwin, a pipe-smoking, gin-toting, 4-foot-tall gold prospector. Their search for native botanicals takes the distillery team deep into the same West Coast rainforest where Biddy once fossicked for gold, to craft a uniquely New Zealand gin with a pioneer’s attitude.

A Perfect Distillation
With four Little Biddy Gins already in the market Reefton Distilling Co.’s Head Distiller Nick Secker is especially proud of their latest offering, Little Biddy Gin – Pink.
Made with handpicked, spray-free tayberries and blueberries from local growers McLennan Brothers Berries, this vibrant and refreshing pink gin is subtly sweet and floral, yet complex with a hidden palate of warm West Coast rainforest resin that characterises the Little Biddy Gin range.
Little Biddy Gin – Pink includes fourteen botanicals; Local West Coast Tayberries, Blueberries, Lavender, Kanuka, Tarata and Rosemary are joined by traditional gin botanicals Angelica, Cardamom, Cassia, Coriander, Juniper, Liquorice, NZ Navel Oranges and Orris Root.
The result is a sophisticated, layered and rather grown up pink gin. Perfect served with quality tonic or soda water, with fresh/frozen raspberries or tayberries and a lemon slice. Add a berry puree for next level decadence.
