A fresh new menu for Subway

Subway has officially launched a new menu with a line-up of 15 new ingredients.

Subway’s director of marketing, Kate Brody said the fresh menu options, including a gluten-free wrap, carved meats, salads, sauces and seasoning options, reflected a commitment to high-quality produce that catered to food-lovers’ changing tastes.

“During a 100-restaurant, six-month trial of our menu innovations, our guests gave these flavour-packed options their enthusiastic endorsement,” Brody said. “From this month, Subway fans visiting more than 250 restaurants across New Zealand will be able to enjoy the even greater choices that our new fresh and high-quality ingredients offer, along with the iconic flavours we’ve become known for.

Brody said the improved menu would provide guests with a greater choice of carved deli-meats, tasty new sauces and more healthy options to cater to dietary requirements.

“Subway is also now offering a vegan option in its menu line-up with a tasty smashed falafel, for those who prefer a plant-based diet, as well as new malted rye bread with seeds and grains, and a gluten-free wrap and to cater to gluten-free diets.”
