The 2024 Lewisham Awards winners have been announced.
The 2024 Lewisham Awards were held at the Viaduct Events Centre on Sunday, 2nd of June, and recognised the past, present, and future of the amazing Auckland hospitality industry. The Awards are named in honour of colourful hospitality entrepreneur (the late) Richard Lewisham, who helped establish the modern-day eating and drinking scene in the 'City of Sails'.
Approximately 600 guests turned out for Auckland hospitality's night of nights, dressed in a masquerade theme that paraded a mix of capes and masks, with a host of acrobats, food trucks, and cocktail stands for those in attendance.
The awards celebrated the achievements of Valarie Littlejohn of Sails Restaurant, who was the recipient of this year's lifetime achievement award. With over six decades in the industry, Littlejohn has been a pioneer and leader for many.
