ANOTHER CHRISTCHURCH CLOSURE

Yet another restaurant in Christchurch has been forced to close its doors, with Nobanno citing council construction work among the reasons behind the closure. The owners of Nobanno, an award-winning Bangladeshi restaurant in the suburb of Ferrymead, took to social media to make the announcement.

“It has been a roller-coaster ride that we have experienced at Ferrymead,” the owners wrote on Facebook. “We have faced so many roadworks and many other issues but it did not stop us because locals have supported Nobanno from their heart and we are grateful for them.”

However it is not the end for Nobanno – the owners operate another branch in Riccarton, and have said they will focus their time and energy on that branch instead.
