The Auckland winter festival is set to showcase the region as an unforgettable and unique destination for travel. The festival in collaboration with Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED), is partnering with local businesses throughout the region and has themes of lighting, food and beverage, and Māori and Pasifika identity at its core.
ATEED has partnered with Lemongrass Productions to encourage eateries across Auckland to participate in the event by creating a dish inspired by the elements: air, earth/land, water, and fire. Restaurants and cafés are also encouraged to have individual events that will be publicised throughout the festival.
