The Japanese-inspired restaurant chain, Wagayama, has revealed a selection of new menu dishes launching this May. The menu is aiming to make customers ‘feel good on the inside’ and offer a ‘soul-satisfying menu experience.’

With five restaurants across New Zealand, four in Auckland and one in Wellington, Wagamama are offering three positive eating menus with a combination of its iconic and popular gyozas, a main dish and a raw juice.

Low-calorie dishes like the pad thai salad with ginger chicken and prawns take centre stage of the new menu. Other new additions to the menu include beef tataki, sticky pork belly and grilled fish donburi.

“At Wagamama, our Asian-inspired menu has been created to nourish, sustain, soothe and inspire,” said Louisa Keddell, marketing manager at Wagamama New Zealand.

“Our proposition at Wagamama is all about positive eating; the idea that we feed our soul as well as our body. That’s why we use fresh ingredients, cook our dishes with passion and love and serve our food the very second it’s ready. Spreading positivity from soul to bowl. We want customers to share in our enthusiasm, slurp their noodles, relax in good company and leave feeling happy, nourished and refreshed.”
