WaiLife has just launched New Zealand’s most pristine bottled water. The company produces a range of premium natural New Zealand structured alkaline artesian water, lab tested with an alkalinity of between pH9.6 and pH10.

Founder and managing director Bari Samadi, who came from an engineering background before venturing into the health industry seven years ago, said WaiLife was created in response to the ‘shocking’ water options available in the market, and a more general response to so many unhealthy alternatives.

“They tell you to chug back water but what they don’t tell you is the water you’re drinking is not doing you any favours. All waters are not equal and that is what we’re here to educate the public about. The type of water and even the container it comes in is affecting everything in your body.”

WaiLife’s range includes several infusions with organic ingredients that are globally recognized for their key health benefits, which Samadi said he cannot put on the packaging because of regulatory laws. The alkalinity of WaiLife water is a result of natural minerals such as magnesium and calcium, which the body is capable of absorbing per its needs and discarding or storing excess.
