THE RAW KITCHEN

The Raw Kitchen is a wellness brand that promotes delicious, plant based foods. The business started 4 years ago by nutritionist Olivia Scott, after spending time researching how food has a direct effect on energy, clarity and general wellbeing. Scott is passionate about living and eating sustainably, eating nutrient dense foods, and promotes a lifestyle that is beneficial for our mind, body and soul.

All food produced at The Raw Kitchen is raw, so naturally free of gluten, dairy and refined sugars. Most commonly used ingredients are fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, spices and herbs. Using blenders, dehydrators, spiralisers and mandolins, The Raw Kitchen produces salads, collard wraps, granola, raw sweets, chia jellies and other such concoctions. With a huge focus on nutrition and innovation, the food also tastes delicious!

The Raw Kitchen moved its premises from Ponsonby to City Works Depot in late 2016, and is planning on opening a new store late 2017. At the store at City Works Depot, a recent winter menu has launched, featuring delicious plant based soups, warming oatmeal and a smokey paprika scrambled tofu on seed loaf with sauerkraut, edamame guacamole and seasonal greens. Expansion is on the horizon, with a second Raw Kitchen location opening in late 2017. Currently The Raw Kitchen stocks cafés around Auckland with raw sweets. The Raw Kitchen is are also looking at expanding their retail range to whole food stores in Auckland. Currently their retail range sold in store consists of their Raw Cacao Granola and Cacao-peanut butter balls.
