Auckland waiters can't wait for the iconic Parnell Waiters Race this weekend, a challenge to all Auckland restaurants and their waiting staff with the winning restaurant and waiter receiving over $30,000 in prizes.
Wait staff will represent their restaurant in a variety of different activities designed to test agility, skill, speed and professionalism. It will be held in Parnell, rain or shine, on Sunday 16th October.
On the day, Heard Park will be hosting an impressive Renault Eiffel Tower that stands over 8m tall.
The amazing prizes for the winner include the use of a Renault Captur for one year for the winning waiter, plus $6,000 in advertising in New Zealand's best Dining Guide for their restaurant and much more.
