The next craft beer?

The global cheese market has only continued to increase in recent years. A 2016 study showed that the industry was growing at a rate of 4 percent annually and had already risen from US$97.5 billion (NZ$145b) in 2012 and is predicted to reach US$105 billion by 2019.

This growing trend can be noted in restaurants with an increasing number of restaurants using specialty cheeses in their recipes. Brands such as Ghiotti offer chefs a range of authentic Italian cheese, from soft blue cheeses to hard pecorino.

With the growing demand for artisanal products, it looks as though speciality cheese maybe the next craft beer.
