The hotly anticipated launch of designer hotel, QT Queenstown, brought two vibrant additions to the city’s burgeoning hospitality scene: Bazaar Interactive Marketplace and Reds Bar.
Opened prior to the launch of QT Queenstown (December 1, 2017), the property’s bold food and drink concepts have been mastering the culinary and mixology scene since their launch earlier this year – Bazaar and Reds have been the first taste of the QT Life in New Zealand’s nature playground.
Bazaar Interactive Marketplace recreates the traditional marketplace with a unique twist, paying homage to the abundance of flora, fauna and livestock of the Central Otago region, with highest quality national and international ingredients. The adventure chic design and emphasis on the freshest produce, has proved to be an everyday affair, indulging its guests with an expansive, world menu to satisfy and intrigue the developed palates of the most discerning foodies.
Produce grown in QT Queenstown’s rooftop garden features on the menu alongside locally sourced ingredients selected by the culinary team spearheaded by QT Queenstown’s food and beverage director, Josh Smith-Thirkell. “We’re excited to continue to build relationships and support our local farmers and producers, collaboratively furthering our reputations for freshness and quality” said Smith-Thirkell. Bazaar delivers artisan flair, while changing the face of the brand’s food supply chain to ensure seasonal and specialised produce is sourced straight from the producer to the plate.
