Texas Chicken New Zealand has opened the doors to its first Rotorua restaurant, the fried chicken brand’s first location outside of Auckland and celebrated by giving away a year’s supply of fried chicken to one lucky winner.
“We’re really excited to be bringing Texas Chicken to Rotorua. The response on opening day was fantastic,” said Texas Chicken New Zealand country manager, Allan Simons. “The Rotorua restaurant is in a wonderful location with lots of passing traffic. The restaurant itself is a lovely modern space and will be an ideal place to catch up with friends and family for a tasty, casual lunch or dinner. We’re looking forward to providing some great fried chicken and exciting employment opportunities to the local area.”
Texas Chicken already has a second restaurant planned for Rotorua. The second location will be on Maisey Place, Fairy Springs and is likely to be open by January 2019.
It has been three years since Texas Chicken first opened in New Zealand.
