TEN YEARS YOUNG

Popular Ponsonby dining establishment Sidart is celebrating ten years of fine dining with a one-off Sunday lunch on September 15th. In what promises to be a memorable meal, chef Sid Sahrawat and the team will be treating diners to canapés and a five-course tasting meal. Diners will also be treated to a glass of champagne, and a koha box of the Sidart team’s favourite foodie items. Some of these items include ghost chilli pickle, Sidart’s sourdough bread, Lot 8 olive oil, and other surprise treats.

The menu will showcase Sahrawat’s iconic progressive Indian dishes, presented elegantly and precisely. To expand upon this, Sidarat is presenting guests with a birthday surprise, releasing an á la carte menu. This will be available as of August 6th.

“The dining scene has changed so much in the past decade,” said Sahrawat. “We opened, survived a recession, expanded the restaurant footprint and now have two dining areas. It’s also been more than a year since our move to Progressive Indian cuisine at Sidart. Chand and I are very grateful to our diners—old and new—for their support and we can’t wait to see what the next ten years bring.”

Tickets to the lunch cost $200, and entitles diners to one koha box per pair. Reservations can be made at reservations@sidart.co.nz.
